Influencer Hafiz Mahamad gifts a motorcycle to a Kelantan father who walks 6km daily with his child to school, inspiring many with his act of kindness.

Popular Malaysian influencer and entrepreneur Hafiz Mahamad has once again captured hearts online, this time by gifting a motorcycle to a father in Kelantan who walks 6 kilometres daily to accompany his child to school.

In a video posted to his Facebook and Instagram, Hafiz shared the touching story that brought him to the family’s doorstep. Another social media influencer and activist highlighted the story, causing it to go viral and prompting Hafiz to visit the village and offer assistance in person.

During the visit, Hafiz took the father and his children shopping for a brand-new motorcycle and household necessities. He even brought them to a barbershop, ensuring the entire family received care and attention.

“MasyaAllah, the lessons I’ve gained from this story are priceless,” Hafiz said in the video. “When I arrived and saw the distance from their home to the school, I thought, ‘Ya Allah, this is really far for a child and father to walk every day.’”

At the family’s home, Hafiz met the father, whom he described as truly admirable.

“The teachers told me this uncle is very caring. Not only does he walk 6 kilometres with his child to school every day, but I witnessed firsthand how lovingly he treats his children. I was humbled just watching the attention he gave them,” Hafiz added.

A Mission to Give Back

Driven by a desire to give back to those in need, Hafiz emphasised that his efforts were about more than just charity—they were about hope and long-term impact.

“I can’t wait to see what these children will become 20 to 30 years from now. I hope they’ll look back on this memory, pursue knowledge, and one day lead and guide others.”

He also extended gratitude to the individuals and community members who helped make the visit possible, including Abbe Hae (Imam of Kampung Abal), local teachers, and others.

The story serves as a reminder that compassion, when coupled with action, can create lasting change, one step, or in this case, one ride at a time.
