Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. has officially unveiled the Honda CBR150R Special Edition, a bold new variant inspired by the spirit of the tiger. Dressed in an exclusive “CyberRoar” colour scheme and aggressive styling, this limited-edition model is targeted at thrill-seeking riders who crave both performance and distinctive design.

Limited to only 250 units nationwide, the Special Edition CBR150R is priced at RM14,399 excluding road tax, insurance and registration, and including a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.

The new CyberRoar livery features a vibrant magenta base contrasted by striking orange stripes that cut across the front and side panels. Adding to its fierce personality is a bold graphic of a roaring tiger’s head on both sides of the fairing,  a visual tribute to the model’s aggressive performance and styling.

The CBR150R Special Edition is sold by Boon Siew Honda Malaysia dealers alongside the CBR150R Silver and Tricolor variants, which are priced at RM13,399. Every CBR150R Special Edition comes with a gift set, consisting of a panoramic sport camera, intercom and LED reflective bag.

Underneath its new skin, the CBR150R remains mechanically unchanged. It is powered by a 149.16cc liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder engine, delivering 16.09 hp at 9,000 rpm and 13.7 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. A six-speed gearbox equipped with a slipper and assist clutch provides smooth shifting, especially during spirited rides.

The bike comes equipped with a 12-litre fuel tank, weighs 139 kg, and has a comfortable seat height of 788 mm, making it ideal for both city commuting and weekend canyon runs. The CBR150R rides on 17-inch wheels, shod with 100/80 (front) and 130/70 (rear) tyres, and is stopped by single hydraulic discs with dual-channel ABS for confident braking in various conditions. LED lighting is featured throughout, while a monochrome LCD display offers all key riding information at a glance.

Suspension duties are handled by USD fork front and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock, giving the CBR150R a sporty yet comfortable ride. The model also boasts a 5-star MyMAP safety rating, a testament to its commitment to rider protection.
