The 2025 Czech GP at Brno ended on a high note for Aprilia Racing, with Marco Bezzecchi securing a brilliant second-place finish and Jorge Martín returning to the points for the first time this season.

Bezzecchi delivered a stellar ride aboard the RS-GP25, launching from the front row and quickly taking the lead in the early laps. The Italian held onto the top spot for several laps before eventually finishing second behind Marc Marquez, marking Aprilia’s fifth podium of the season, including their win at Silverstone.

“I’m extremely pleased. It was a fantastic race, and I took some risks – especially early on overtaking Quartararo. That move was key,” said Bezzecchi. “I knew Marc was saving something, so I pushed but tried to stay clean. He had a little more than I did, especially in the second half. Still, I’m happy – I even set my best time on the final lap.”

The team’s success continued with Jorge Martín, who started 12th and fought through the pack to finish seventh – his first race finish and points with Aprilia Racing after a three-month injury layoff.

“This result is very encouraging,” said Martín. “The goal was to turn laps and learn. From lap 10 onwards, I focused on finding areas to improve. After so much downtime, seventh place is a great starting point.”

Team Principal Massimo Rivola praised both riders and the team’s overall performance, also highlighting Raúl Fernández’s top-five result.

“Marco was practically perfect, and it was wonderful to see Jorge back on track. He was fast in the wet on Friday, consistent Saturday, and strong in the race. Raúl’s result shows Aprilia’s growth. We’re not stopping here – our hunger is our strength.”

With strong momentum heading into the summer break, Aprilia Racing looks poised for an exciting second half of the season.
