Call it what you want: electric scooter, light motorcycle, suburban disruptor, but one thing the Mars XTR definitely isn’t is average.

While most e-scooters politely tiptoe around city streets with commuter-minded specs and budget-friendly performance, the Mars XTR shows up like it was forged in the chaos of a dystopian drag race. It’s not built to fit into the category—it’s built to break the mould entirely.

Performance That Borderlines on Madness

This monster doesn’t whisper eco-friendliness—it screams performance. Powered by dual motors delivering a peak of 10,000W, the Mars XTR can rocket to speeds of over 65 mph (105 km/h). That’s not scooter fast. That’s motorcycle quick, and at 136 lbs (or roughly 62 kg), it demands both respect and a solid pair of nerves.

Whether you’re burning through backroads or overtaking stunned cyclists on the city fringe, the Mars XTR is unapologetic. It doesn’t just blur the line between scooter and motorcycle—it vaporises it.

Built for Warzones (or the Commute, if You’re Brave)

Teewing, the designer behind this electric sledgehammer, clearly pulled no punches. It borrows heavily from serious machinery like the Wolf King GTR, complete with a dual-stem frame for rigidity and stability. There’s even telelever-inspired suspension, a nod to BMW’s big bikes—because when you’re hitting over 100 km/h on two wheels without an engine, good suspension isn’t a luxury, it’s survival.

The hydraulic disc brakes front and rear (Nutt brand) are essential at these speeds because slowing down from full blast is not something you want to trust to regen braking alone.

Features That Make the Competition Seem Comical

Forget minimalism. The Mars XTR comes decked out with a wide deck, military camo or blackout finish, and support for riders up to 440 lbs—meaning it laughs in the face of traditional weight limits. The Samsung 72V 45Ah battery delivers up to 56.8 miles of real-world range and charges in 8 hours. That’s six times the juice of your average rental e-scooter.

And unlike most scooters, this one doesn’t even pretend to be portable. You’re not taking it into an elevator or storing it next to your desk. You give this beast a parking spot, maybe even a name.

So, Who’s the Mars XTR For?

If you’re the kind of person who thinks speed limits are just suggestions, or if your idea of fun involves challenging the laws of physics while commuting, the Mars XTR is your next obsession. But fair warning: this isn’t for the faint-hearted, the casual commuter, or anyone who doesn’t have a healthy respect for torque.

Priced at $3,399 (approx. RM15,960.00) (with discounts floating around), it’s not cheap, but considering the raw specs and road presence, it’s arguably the most outrageous performance-per-dollar package in the e-scooter space.

Final Word: Not Practical, Just Perfect

You don’t buy the Mars XTR because it makes sense. You buy it because you want the most absurdly powerful electric scooter money can buy. It’s not about getting from A to B, it’s about launching from A, conquering B, and making every stoplight feel like a starting grid.
