SW-Motech’s Legend Gear luggage range has received a comprehensive update for 2025. It celebrates its 10th anniversary with a blend of timeless aesthetics and modern performance upgrades.

Originally launched as a retro-inspired line, the Legend Gear series has evolved to suit a broader range of motorcycles beyond classic and vintage models. The 2025 refresh introduces a new Eco-Tech polyester material across the entire lineup, replacing the original cotton-blend fabric. The new material retains the rugged, heritage-style texture riders loved but now offers improved durability, UV resistance, and abrasion protection. These are some key upgrades for long-term use in varied weather conditions.

PRO Tank Ring System: A Major Usability Leap

The most significant update is the integration of the PRO Tank Ring system. It is a quick-release magnetic mounting setup that drastically improves usability. Developed with Fidlock, the system uses a magnetic guide to auto-align the tank bag onto the tank ring, where it locks securely into place. Removing the bag is just as easy, making fuel stops fast and frustration-free.

This feature debuts on the LT3 Tank Bag — the first of the updated models to launch. It is perfect for everyday practicality. The LT3 offers 3 litres of storage expandable to 5 litres, fits a wide range of tank shapes, and includes thoughtful features like a MOLLE top panel for modular accessories, front and rear cable ports, reflective detailing, and easy-to-use buckles and zippers.

Prices and Availability

The LT3 Tank Bag comes with a price tag at £121.99 including VAT (approximately RM730). On the other hand, the PRO Tank Ring starts at £32.99 (approximately RM200).

With this 2025 refresh, SW-Motech successfully keeps the nostalgic charm of the Legend Gear series alive while making it more durable, versatile, and rider-friendly than ever before.
