Lewis Hamilton made a jaw-dropping entrance at the Monaco Grand Prix media day, arriving on a rare custom MV Agusta F4 LH44 motorcycle that instantly set social media alight. Dressed in Ferrari red and riding a bike in matching livery, the seven-time world champion turned heads at the paddock as cameras flashed and fans cheered.

Hamilton’s choice of ride, the limited edition MV Agusta F4 LH44, is one of only 44 units ever produced, a nod to his racing number. First launched in 2017 through a collaboration between Hamilton and the iconic Italian motorcycle brand, the LH44 is based on the F4 RC platform, which carries engineering DNA from MV Agusta’s World Superbike efforts.

Underneath its aggressive red fairings lies a 998cc four-cylinder engine pushing out a staggering 212 horsepower, seven more than the standard F4 RC, in a machine that weighs just 190kg dry. It’s a technical marvel, designed for both performance and exclusivity, and its appearance at Monaco added another layer of flair to an already glamorous weekend.

The symbolism of Hamilton arriving at the Monaco GP aboard a red MV Agusta wasn’t lost on fans and insiders alike. This year marks his debut Monaco outing in Ferrari colours, following his sensational move from Mercedes. The sight of the British driver astride a fellow Italian machine and one as rare and revered as the LH44 only deepened the narrative of his new chapter with the Scuderia.

Hamilton’s arrival comes after a strong showing at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix in Imola, and just a day after hosting a private screening of the upcoming Formula 1 movie, in which he serves as producer. The film, starring Brad Pitt, aims to deliver a grounded and authentic portrayal of the sport, with Hamilton guiding its realism behind the scenes.

The screening, held at Monaco’s Grimaldi Forum, was attended by most of the F1 grid and team personnel, a fitting start to what is shaping up to be an unforgettable Monaco GP weekend.
