Malaysian motorcycle enthusiasts have gained a new option in the cruiser segment with the arrival of the 2025 Hanway Heritage 400, officially introduced by MZM Bike. The Chinese manufacturer’s entry into the Malaysian market comes through completely knocked-down (CKD) assembly, offering riders a blend of classic bobber aesthetics and modern features.
The Heritage 400 stands out with its flexible seating arrangement, featuring interchangeable solo bobber and two-up seat configurations. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled 401cc parallel-twin DOHC engine that delivers 42 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and 34Nm of torque, transmitting power through a chain final drive. The cruiser rolls on matching 16-inch wheels at both ends, fitted with 130/90 front and 150/80 rear tires.

Safety features include dual hydraulic disc brakes up front and a single rear disc, all supported by two-channel ABS as standard equipment. The suspension setup combines conventional telescopic forks in the front with preload-adjustable rear shock absorbers. Riders are treated to a hybrid instrument cluster that merges analogue and digital displays for comprehensive ride information.
With a manageable wet weight of 198kg, accessible 690mm seat height, and a 12-litre fuel tank, the Heritage 400 positions itself as a practical middleweight cruiser. Potential buyers can select from two timeless colour options: Gloss Black or Matte Black, both complementing the bike’s classic lines.
The Heritage 400 comes with an attractive price of RM22,800 (excluding road tax, insurance, and registration). MZM Bike provides assurance to customers with a two-year or 20,000km warranty covering manufacturing defects.
