Royal Enfield, in collaboration with ICON Motorsports, has launched the Limited Edition Shotgun 650, a motorcycle inspired by the custom-built masterpiece “Always Something” showcased at EICMA 2024 and Motoverse 2024.

This exclusive model, limited to just 100 units worldwide, is a celebration of custom motorcycle culture, blending style, character, and performance. Only five units have been allocated for Malaysia, with a total of 25 units available across the ASEAN region. Registration for this highly sought-after motorcycle opens on February 6, 2025, on the Royal Enfield website, with sales going live on February 12, 2025.

The Limited Edition Shotgun 650 features a striking three-tone colour scheme with race-inspired graphics, complemented by gold contrast alloy cut rims and blue shock absorber springs. The red seat, adorned with an integrated logo, adds to its distinctive aesthetic. Each purchase includes a Slabtown Intercept RE jacket designed by ICON, crafted from a mix of textile and suede, with leather appliques and embroidery.

Underneath its unique exterior, the Shotgun 650 retains its core specifications, powered by a 648 cc air-cooled parallel-twin engine delivering 46 hp at 7,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm of torque at 5,650 rpm.

The motorcycle rides on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, shod with 100/90 and 150/70 tyres, respectively. Suspension duties are handled by Showa SFF-BP upside-down forks at the front and twin Showa shock absorbers at the rear, adjustable for preload.

Braking is managed by single hydraulic discs with two-channel ABS as standard, while LED lighting and an LCD display with a USB charging port enhance convenience. The motorcycle weighs 240 kg (ready to ride) and features a 13.8-litre fuel tank with a seat height of 795 mm.

Adrian Sellers, Head of Custom & Motorsport at Royal Enfield, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Our partnership with ICON Motorsports for the Limited Edition Shotgun 650 exemplifies the custom possibilities of the Shotgun 650, celebrating the artistry and passion of custom building while pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with Royal Enfield motorcycles. The ‘Always Something’ by ICON was a masterpiece, and we are thrilled to bring this production version, channelling its passion and style, to our community of riders worldwide.”

ICON Motorsports, based in Portland, Oregon, is renowned for blending retro aesthetics with cutting-edge technology, creating motorcycles that are both timeless and innovative. This collaboration with Royal Enfield highlights their shared commitment to pushing the boundaries of motorcycle design and performance.

Priced at RM 38,500 in Malaysia, this collector’s edition is a testament to the artistry and passion of custom motorcycle building. Enthusiasts eager to own this exclusive motorcycle can register starting February 6, 2025, via the Royal Enfield website.

The first 25 customers in the Asia-Pacific region to book the Limited Edition Shotgun 650 will secure their place in motorcycle history. With its limited production run and unique design, the Shotgun 650 is set to become a prized possession for collectors and riders alike.
