The Asian Road Racing Championship (ARRC), one of the most prestigious motorcycle racing series in Asia, is set to return for another exhilarating season in 2025. Organised by FIM Asia and Two Wheels Motor Racing (TWMR), the championship will feature six rounds across five competitive classes, continuing its legacy of promoting motorsport development in the region since its inception in 1996.

The 2025 ARRC season will once again bring together riders from across Asia, including Indonesia, to compete in the ASB1000, SS600, and AP250 categories, alongside the supporting UB150 and TVS Asia One-Make classes. The championship has been a cornerstone of Asian motorsport, receiving official FIM recognition since 1997 and serving as a platform for emerging talent and fierce competition.

A Platform for Growth and Innovation

Ron Hogg, Promotions Director of TWMR, expressed confidence in the upcoming season, emphasising the championship’s role in driving innovation and growth in motorsport.

“Motorsport is now not just a sport but an industry-changing phenomenon that drives creativity and growth in innovation and technology, much-needed elements that challenge human capacity against the machine,” said Hogg. “With ARRC, that’s what we hope for this community—a test that pushes competing teams and riders to achieve success beyond breaking records.”

Hogg also highlighted plans for various initiatives aimed at enhancing engagement and ensuring the championship’s recognition not only in Asia but on a global scale.

Fostering Young Talent and Competitive Spirit

FIM Asia President Stephan Carapiet reiterated the organization’s commitment to expanding the reach of motorsport and inspiring the next generation of riders.

“We hope to see renewed motivation and strength from our members as well as an increased level of competition among teams and riders,” Carapiet said. “Our goal is to continue fostering interest among young people in motorsport and providing a platform for them to showcase their talent.”

The 2025 ARRC season promises to deliver high-octane action, fierce rivalries, and unforgettable moments as riders and teams battle for supremacy across Asia’s most iconic circuits. Fans can look forward to another year of thrilling races and groundbreaking achievements in this premier motorcycle racing championship.
