Zontes has officially unveiled its latest model in Malaysia, the Zontes 368G, a versatile adventure scooter designed to handle both urban commutes and light off-road escapades.

The Zontes 368G is powered by a 368cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers an impressive 38 horsepower at 7,500rpm and 40Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. Coupled with a CVT gearbox and belt-driven final drive, the scooter ensures smooth and efficient power delivery. It rides on a 17-inch tubeless spoked front wheel and a 15-inch rear, making it adaptable to various terrains.

The suspension setup includes adjustable upside-down front forks with rebound and compression adjustment, while the rear shock absorber offers preload and rebound adjustments. Braking duties are handled by J.Juan, featuring a four-piston front caliper and two-piston rear caliper, complemented by a dual-channel ABS system that can be switched off for off-road conditions.

The Zontes 368G comes in two variants with different seat heights to accommodate riders of various statures. The 795mm variant is available in Iron Grey with Blue accents, while the 770mm version comes in White with Gold and Golden Stone Green. The seat height variations are achieved through different fork tube lengths and ground clearance adjustments, with no price difference between the options.

With a dry weight of 198kg and a 17.5-litre fuel tank, the 368G offers an impressive range of up to 500km on a single tank. Practicality is further enhanced by a 52-litre under-seat storage compartment that can fit two full-face helmets. Optional add-ons include 46-watt fog lights and a 45-litre aluminium top box with a factory rack.

The scooter boasts advanced tech features, including an 8-inch TFT-LCD instrument panel, HD cameras with Sony Starvis sensors for front and rear recording, and video playback via the Zontes Intelligent App or directly on the panel. Additional conveniences include six USB fast-charging ports (Type-A and Type-C), LED lighting with auto-dimming headlights, and a factory-installed YTZ-12 gel battery.

Riders can choose between Sport and Eco ride modes, while mid-mount footpegs allow for comfortable off-road riding. Safety features include a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and traction control, ensuring stability and confidence on the road.

Comfort is prioritized with an adjustable windshield offering five levels of height settings for optimal protection during long rides. Standard equipment also includes fog lights, a crash bar, and heated grips, making the Zontes 368G a well-rounded choice for this adventure scooter segment.

The Zontes 368G is now available for purchase at a price of RM28,800 and comes with a two-year or 20,000 km warranty covering manufacturing defects. The scooter is anticipated to hit the roads by March, with 1,000 units already confirmed through pre-orders.
