CFMoto Malaysia has recently launched the Zeeho AE8 S+ Premium EV Scooter, marking the brand’s second electric scooter offering in the local market. Imported by MForce through CFMoto Malaysia, the AE8 S+ is available in two colours: Eclipse Silver and Starship Silver.

The scooter made its debut alongside the grand opening of the CFMOTO – TR Motorworld flagship store in Johor Bahru, Johor, which also houses Malaysia’s first dedicated Zeeho showroom.

Engineered for urban commuting, the Zeeho AE8 S+ is powered by a mid-mounted electric motor with a belt drive to the rear wheel. The motor delivers a continuous output of 5 kW, with peak power reaching 12.5 kW (16.8 hp) and a torque rating of 218 Nm. Riders can choose from three modes: Eco, Street, and Sport.

Energy is supplied by two lithium-ion batteries rated at 69 volts and 27 Ah, enabling the AE8 S+ to accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in just 2.6 seconds and achieve a top speed of 100 km/h.

Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and preload-adjustable rear shock absorbers, while the scooter rides on 12-inch alloy rims with 100/80 front and 120/70 rear tyres. Braking is managed by a four-piston Brembo calliper on the front 220 mm disc and a single-piston calliper on the 190 mm rear disc, supported by two-channel ABS as standard.

Convenience features include cruise control, USB-A and USB-C charging ports, and a 5-inch TFT-LCD instrument panel with Bluetooth connectivity via the Zeeho Ride app. The app allows users to remotely track and lock the scooter, while the ECU supports over-the-air updates, eliminating the need for a service centre visit.

Weighing 133 kg, the scooter has a seat height of 785 mm and a ground clearance of 152 mm. The Zeeho AE8 S+ is priced at RM18,888, and buyers will benefit from a two-year manufacturer warranty or coverage of up to 20,000 km, subject to terms and conditions. Spare parts are accessible online and through authorized CFMoto dealers across the country.
