Logos in the automotive world carry an unparalleled weight—more than just a brand identifier, they are often symbols of history and heritage. Few companies understand this better than Triumph Motorcycles. This week, Triumph announced a nod to its own legacy by unveiling the 2025 Modern Classic Icon Edition motorcycles, a collection featuring seven bikes, each bearing a storied logo that hasn’t graced their models for over a century.
The resurrected logo, known as the “Edwardian gold script,” dates back to 1907 and carries with it a century-old legacy. Originally introduced in 1902 as a heraldic crest on a shield displaying the company’s name alongside Coventry, where Triumphs were produced, the design was revised in 1907 to a simpler script style. This logo stayed on only briefly before being retired, though custom motorcycle circles have occasionally borrowed its vintage flair. Triumph’s choice to bring it back is a powerful homage to its roots, and the 2025 Icon Edition is an ideal setting to showcase this iconic emblem.
Here’s a look at each of the seven motorcycles in the 2025 Icon collection, unified by two-tone Sapphire Black and Aluminum Silver finishes, as well as special graphics on their tanks and side panels.
1. Triumph Bonneville T100 Icon Edition
Starting with a classic, the retro-inspired Bonneville T100 Icon Edition embodies Triumph’s tradition. This model features a 900cc engine with 64 horsepower and 80 Nm of torque. It includes a 32-spoke wheel design and cartridge front forks, adding old-school charm. The tank and side panels combine Sapphire Black and Aluminum Silver with hand-painted coach lines. Topping it off, the revived 1907 logo completes its iconic look.
2. Triumph Bonneville T120 Icon Edition
The Bonneville T120 Icon Edition follows the T100’s vintage-inspired style. It features a larger 1,200cc engine with 79 horsepower and 105 Nm of torque. The T120 sports a sophisticated black-on-silver tank with gold detailing. This design adds a luxurious touch while keeping a retro aesthetic. Like the T100, it proudly displays the Edwardian logo on its tank.
3. Triumph Scrambler 900 Icon Edition
The 2025 Icon Edition wouldn’t be complete without a Scrambler, and Triumph hasn’t disappointed. The Scrambler 900 Icon Edition retains its rugged design, powered by a 900cc Bonneville engine. Its unique silver-striped tank, coupled with the heritage logo and hand-painted coach lines, brings visual impact. With a convertible frame that can accommodate A2 license holders, this Scrambler balances adaptability with nostalgic style.
4. Triumph Scrambler 1200 X Icon Edition
The more robust Scrambler 1200 X Icon Edition is designed for adventurous souls who prefer a bit more power, running on a 1,200cc Bonneville engine. Its 21-inch front wheel and enhanced suspension make it ideal for off-road enthusiasts. In this Icon edition, brushed aluminium and black tank stripes lend a refined, modern twist to its classic look, with the signature logo prominently displayed on its side.
5. Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE Icon Edition
An elevated take on the Scrambler 1200, the 1200 XE Icon Edition shares many features with its sibling, including the 1,200cc engine. What sets it apart is the Phantom Black tank, gold-anodized forks, and detailing that takes the model’s premium appeal up a notch. Like the rest of the collection, the XE showcases the iconic 1907 logo, emphasizing its place in Triumph’s legacy.
6. Triumph Bonneville Bobber Icon Edition
The Bonneville Bobber Icon Edition accentuates the Bobber’s signature minimalism. With silver accents on a black base and a robust 1,200cc engine (77 horsepower, 106 Nm torque), the Bobber captures both sleekness and power. Black-and-silver finishes extend across the tank and fat wheels, blending a rebellious edge with timeless style.
7. Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster Icon Edition
Last but not least, the Bonneville Speedmaster Icon Edition rounds out the collection with a bold silver tank and mudguard, accented by a black racing stripe. The Speedmaster packs the same powerful 1,200cc engine as the Bobber, along with Showa cartridge forks and a hidden monoshock for smooth handling. The exclusive colour scheme and logo give it the classic touch that fits with the rest of the Icon lineup.
The 2025 Triumph Icon Edition motorcycles will be available in dealerships beginning this December. In the U.S., the lineup starts at $11,745, giving enthusiasts a chance to own a piece of history reborn. For those drawn to both performance and heritage, these bikes are a striking blend of vintage allure and modern technology.
