EICMA, the annual Milan-based motorcycle expo, is considered a magical time for motorcycle enthusiasts. It’s like Christmas morning, as the world’s top brands unveil their latest bikes, leaving fans wide-eyed and full of excitement. After a five-year hiatus, Husqvarna is making its much-anticipated return to EICMA. This time, they’re bringing something special: five new models, including some we’ve already gotten a sneak peek at.

Last seen at EICMA in 2019, Husqvarna has been absent for a while. However, their 2024 return promises to be impactful. The Swedish brand has announced it will be showcasing “five special machines,” along with 20 production models. Among the stars of the show will be two highly-anticipated 2025 models: the Vitpilen 801 and Svartpilen 801.

Husqvarna Vitpilen 801: A Road-Focused Marvel

The Vitpilen 801 has already made waves in the motorcycling world, confirmed earlier this year as part of Husqvarna’s 2025 lineup. The Vitpilen 801 stands out as a road-focused machine, offering sleek aesthetics and impressive performance. This new model will be available in two distinct colourways. It is available in an elegant Silver and a striking Yellow livery. Husqvarna’s decision to bring this machine to EICMA further highlights its commitment to expanding its range and enhancing rider experience.

Svartpilen 801: Street Scrambler Power

Alongside the Vitpilen 801, Husqvarna will also unveil the Svartpilen 801. The Svartpilen series has long been celebrated for its rugged, street scrambler vibe. This latest model promises to stay true to that spirit. With its strong, aggressive design and all-terrain versatility, the Svartpilen 801 will catch the eye of urban adventurers and off-road enthusiasts alike.

What Else to Expect: Three Mystery Models

While Husqvarna has kept details under wraps for three of the new models, rumours suggest at least one of them will be an Enduro model. It is likely designed for those who crave high-performance off-road experiences. Husqvarna’s legacy in off-road racing, particularly in Enduro, makes this an exciting possibility for die-hard fans.

A Spectacle to Remember

Husqvarna’s return to EICMA promises more than just new bikes. The event will also feature appearances from some of the brand’s top racing stars. Brand ambassadors and special guests will also be present, creating an immersive and exciting atmosphere. The five-day event will celebrate both innovation and performance. Husqvarna will make a bold statement about its future in the motorcycle world.

In their official statement, Husqvarna expressed their enthusiasm, saying: “Returning to EICMA for the first time since 2019, Husqvarna Mobility is excited to be exhibiting its full, 2025 range of quality motorcycles on what will be one of the most engaging exhibitions at the event. Since its last attendance at the prestigious show, the brand has strengthened its line-ups by introducing new models while continuing to evolve all of its proven, popular machines, ensuring class-leading performance.”

KTM’s Return

Husqvarna’s parent company, KTM, will also be making its first appearance at EICMA since 2019, with an exciting array of new models. With both brands under the same ownership, their combined return to EICMA will be a powerful showcase of European motorcycling excellence.

As the countdown to EICMA 2024 continues, motorcycle fans can expect thrilling new releases, cutting-edge designs, and the opportunity to witness the evolution of some of the industry’s best machines. Husqvarna’s reappearance is set to be one of the highlights, and it’s clear they’re coming back with a bang!
