Honda’s 2025 X-ADV has received major upgrades for the European market. These include design changes, new features, and practical improvements that make it a more advanced and refined two-wheeler.

The 2025 X-ADV delivers an impressive fuel economy of 3.6 litres per 100 km, making it efficient for long rides. Five accessory packs are available, catering to different rider needs: Adventure, Comfort, Style, Travel, and Urban. The scooter is set to launch in Europe later this year, with its arrival in Malaysia expected next year.

The Honda X-ADV’s Bold New Design

The 2025 X-ADV boasts sharper, more aggressive bodywork with rugged fairings. Its dual LED projector headlights, integrated with daytime running lights, provide enhanced visibility. Honda also introduces sustainable materials, using recycled plastics and Durabio biomass plastic for body parts. The seat base and luggage box are made from recycled Honda automobile bumpers, reflecting the company’s environmental efforts.

The scooter is available in three main colours—Graphite Black, Pearl Glare White, and Matte Deep Mud Gray. Riders can also opt for the Special Edition Matte Gold Finch Yellow with a dual-tone livery, adding a touch of boldness to the design.

Improved Comfort and Convenience

Honda has focused on enhancing rider comfort with a reshaped seat made of thicker urethane. This design change improves comfort and makes ground reach easier. The windshield is adjustable in three steps using just one hand, providing extra convenience.

With a seat height of 820 mm and a wider handlebar, the X-ADV offers better ergonomics and visibility during rides. The newly integrated cruise control system works seamlessly with the Dual Clutch Transmission, enhancing comfort during long-distance rides. The 22-litre under-seat storage compartment now includes a USB-C charging port and can hold a full-face helmet. Additionally, a glovebox offers more storage options.

Advanced Technology Features

The 2025 X-ADV includes a 5-inch full-colour TFT screen that enhances sunlight readability. Riders can choose from three display modes: Bar, Circle, and Simple. Honda’s RoadSync system allows for smartphone connectivity, enabling turn-by-turn navigation, music control, and voice call management through Bluetooth.

An updated Smart Key system provides control over the ignition, fuel cap, seat, and optional Smart Top Box. The rear indicators now feature self-cancelling Emergency Stop Signals, further improving safety.

Engine and Performance

The X-ADV features a 745-cc parallel twin-cylinder engine, delivering 57.8 hp and 69 Nm of torque. This engine comes with a new 6-speed Dual Clutch Transmission, which offers smoother control at low speeds. Riders can choose from four throttle modes—Standard, Sport, Rain, and Gravel—depending on road conditions, or fine-tune the settings with a customizable USER mode for a tailored riding experience.

Handling and Braking

The chassis remains unchanged, featuring 17-inch front and 15-inch rear wheels. The front suspension system includes 41 mm USD forks, while the rear is equipped with a Monoshock damper and Prolink swingarm. Radial-mounted four-piston brake callipers handle braking with 296 mm floating double discs in the front and a single-piston calliper with a 240 mm disc at the rear. The system is complemented by a two-channel ABS for effective braking control.

Looking Forward to the 2025 Honda X-ADV

The 2025 Honda X-ADV is a stylish, efficient, and technologically advanced adventure scooter. Its improved design, rider-centric features, and eco-friendly materials make it a standout model in the adventure-scooter segment. With the European launch around the corner, and its arrival in Malaysia anticipated next year, this model is set to offer both urban riders and adventurers a truly unique experience.
