Hero MotoCorp is ready to launch a new ADV motorcycle at EICMA 2024. This marks another step forward in their adventure motorcycle lineup. Following the success of the Xpulse 200, Hero is looking to expand its range. The big question: Will it be the Xpulse 210 or the Xpulse 440?

The Journey So Far with Hero MotoCorp

Hero began India’s adventure motorcycle journey with the Impulse. The Xpulse 200 made adventure bikes affordable for many. It became a popular choice for entry-level ADV riders. Now, Hero aims to offer something bigger and better.

Speculation on the New XPulse

The teaser has created a buzz, with fans eagerly waiting for the reveal. Initial rumours suggested an Xpulse 210. However, more recent hints point towards an Xpulse 440. A larger engine would be a significant upgrade for adventure enthusiasts.

The teaser image caused some confusion. It turned out to be an Xpulse 200 from aftermarket parts maker HyperRider. Despite this, excitement about the new Xpulse remains strong.

What Could the XPulse 440 Bring?

The Xpulse 440 is expected to deliver 35-40 bhp and 35 Nm of torque. This would offer improved high-speed cruising and off-road power. A 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch are likely. These features will make gear shifts smoother and touring easier.

Hero is also expected to equip the Xpulse 440 with top-tier adventure features. This could include long-travel suspension, off-road tyres, and handlebar risers. A larger windscreen and tank cage might improve protection on tough terrains.

What if It’s the XPulse 210?

If Hero unveils the Xpulse 210, it will get the 210 cc engine from the Karizma XMR. This engine is expected to produce around 26 bhp and 21 Nm. It will also come with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. The Xpulse 210 would offer better cruising abilities than the Xpulse 200.

A Strategic Move by Hero

Hero’s entry into the 400cc market could be a game-changer. The mid-capacity adventure segment is growing rapidly. Hero will compete with models like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure. A global debut at EICMA ensures international attention.

Whether it’s the Xpulse 210 or 440, Hero’s new bike is eagerly awaited. With improved features, power, and performance, this new Xpulse could redefine adventure motorcycling in India and beyond. Hero MotoCorp is once again ready to make a mark on the ADV world.
