Ducati has continued its 2025 lineup with the introduction of two revamped Scrambler models: the Icon Dark and the Full Throttle, both maintaining the signature Ducati Scrambler character while bringing new features and design updates to the table.

These motorcycles are set to appeal to Scrambler enthusiasts worldwide, with their sleek design, enhanced performance, and distinct riding experiences.

Icon Dark: Minimalist and Modern

The 2025 Icon Dark stands out as the most minimalist and modern model in the Scrambler lineup. With its all-black design, it captures the essence of simplicity, perfect for riders who appreciate clean lines and understated elegance. Ducati has designed this model for those who value customization, offering a canvas where personal modifications can shine.

The Icon Dark is powered by an 803cc parallel-twin engine that produces 73 hp at 8,250 rpm and 67 Nm of torque, providing ample power for city and highway riding. The bike’s suspension includes a KYB 41mm front fork and an adjustable rear shock absorber, ensuring a smooth ride. Modern touches like a TFT display, cornering ABS, and traction control add to the bike’s appeal, along with a ride-by-wire system and LED lighting with daytime running lights (DRL).

While its technical specs remain consistent with previous models, including the 6-speed gearbox, the Icon Dark’s all-black aesthetic enhances its sleekness. The matte black finish on the fuel tank, mudguards, and panels further spotlights its modern appeal.

Full Throttle: Inspired by Flat Track Racing

The 2025 Full Throttle is the sportiest Scrambler model, inspired by the adrenaline-fueled world of US Flat Track racing. With its black-and-bronze heritage livery, the Full Throttle harks back to the racing designs of the 1970s.

This model features number plates displaying the number 62, symbolizing the debut year of Ducati’s original Scrambler in 1962, and a Termignoni exhaust as stock, enhancing its aggressive look.

The Full Throttle shares many technical features with the Icon Dark, including the 803cc desmodromic twin-cylinder engine, 73 hp output, and the same suspension setup. However, it distinguishes itself with a lowered handlebar, short front mudguard, and Tracker-style tail section, giving it a more rugged, race-ready appearance. The addition of a quickshifter and Ducati Performance LED indicators emphasizes its performance-oriented nature.

Common Features Across Both Models

Both the Icon Dark and Full Throttle models share core specifications. They come equipped with the same 803cc twin-cylinder engine, a 6-speed transmission, and a tubular steel trellis frame. Both models feature 18-inch front and 17-inch rear aluminium alloy wheels, Kayaba suspension (USD front fork and rear shock adjustable in preload), and Bosch Cornering ABS for maximum safety.

The braking system includes a 300mm front disc with a four-piston radial calliper and a 245mm rear disc with a single-piston floating calliper. Both models weigh 176 kg without fuel and come with a 14.5-litre fuel tank, ensuring a good balance between agility and endurance for longer rides.

The 4.3-inch colour TFT display serves as the instrument panel, and the bikes feature riding modes, power modes, and Ducati Traction Control (DTC) for a safer, more customizable riding experience. Riders also have the option to equip motorcycles with the Ducati Multimedia System for added convenience and connectivity.
