Aveta Global Marketing Sdn Bhd has officially launched the VTM 250 dual-purpose motorcycle, offering Malaysian riders an exciting new option in the adventure and commuter bike segments. The VTM 250 comes in two variants—the VTM 250 LX and VTM 250 M—each catering to different riding styles and preferences.

The VTM 250 LX is tailored for rugged, off-road adventures, making it ideal for riders who enjoy tackling rough terrains and enduro-style riding. This model is expected to be released by the end of October.

On the other hand, the VTM 250 M, also known as the Motard, is geared towards street riding with light off-road capabilities. It offers a practical, stylish supermoto experience and is set for a December launch, perfect for urban commuters looking for versatility.

Both variants are powered by the same 250cc single-cylinder, 2-valve SOHC engine with oil cooling, delivering 19hp at 8,500rpm and 18Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. A fuel-efficient 6-speed manual transmission complements the engine, making the VTM 250 ideal for both casual riders and adventure seekers.

Both models are equipped with an 8-litre fuel tank and disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. Weighing just 125kg (dry weight) and built with a semi-double cradle chassis, the bike is designed to be light and agile, ensuring easy handling. Additionally, both variants come with an electric starter for convenience, along with a USB port for charging devices while on the go.

Key Differences: Ground Clearance & Wheels

The main distinction between the VTM 250 LX and VTM 250 M lies in their ground clearance and wheel sizes, reflecting their intended use. The LX model, designed for off-road riding, offers 305mm ground clearance, a 21-inch front rim, and an 18-inch rear rim.

Meanwhile, the VTM 250 M, built for city and street use, has a slightly lower 290mm ground clearance, with 17-inch aluminium rims that enhance handling and agility in urban environments. The M variant also features switchable ABS, allowing riders to toggle between road and track settings, offering added control and versatility.

Colour Options & Pricing

The VTM 250 LX will be available in Arsenal Red or Army Green, while the M variant will come in Blazing Red or Admiral Blue.

The VTM 250 LX is priced at RM12,988.00 (excluding insurance and road tax), and the VTM 250 M will retail at RM13,388.00. Both models come with a one-year or 10,000km warranty, whichever comes first. Additionally, Aveta is offering an exclusive Gift with Purchase (GWP) set for the first 50 buyers of each model.
