Honda has shaken up the motorcycle world with exciting news. The brand officially announced a new medium-sized sports bike. This bike will feature a four-cylinder engine, a key selling point. Minoru Kato, Honda’s motorcycle division head, made the announcement. He did so at the Chongqing Motorcycle Show in China, which began on September 13, 2024.

Although details are scarce, Honda teased a silhouette of the bike. The company confirmed it will have an integral fairing. Positioned as a rival to the Kawasaki ZX-4R, this model has sparked excitement. It’s expected to add fierce competition in the medium-sized supersport segment.

Rumours suggest two engine sizes could be available. A 500cc version may target the Chinese market, while a 400cc version could launch in Japan. However, Honda has yet to confirm these details officially. The market is greatly anticipating the announcement.

There are also rumours of a possible naked version. This would expand the range and appeal to more riders. Honda aims to attract both sport-focused and versatile bike enthusiasts. The company has confirmed the launch is set for 2025.

With this move, Honda seeks to strengthen its presence in a growing market. The medium-sized motorcycle segment is becoming increasingly competitive. Honda’s new bike could play a key role in redefining this space. Its arrival is eagerly anticipated by riders worldwide.
