Daytona Bike Week has begun, attracting global motorcycle enthusiasts. Harley-Davidson seizes the opportunity, unveiling its 2024 models at the prestigious Florida rally.
Icons Collection: 2024 Hydra-Glide Revival
Leading the charge is the 2024 Hydra-Glide Revival, the latest addition to Harley-Davidson’s Icons Motorcycle Collection. This limited-edition model pays homage to the 75th anniversary of the Hydra-Glide telescopic front suspension, a groundbreaking innovation for Harley’s E and F models in 1949.
The Hydra-Glide Revival is visually striking. It boasts custom Redline Red paint and a Birch White panel on the tank sides, echoing the 1956 E and F bikes. Period-specific details abound, including chrome tank badges and a serialized “Hydra-Glide Revival” insert on the handlebar riser cap. The nostalgia trip extends with a speedometer inspired by the 1954–55 era, a two-tone detachable windshield, and water-resistant leather and vinyl saddlebags exuding ’50s flair.
Underneath the retro aesthetics lies a modern powerhouse, driven by a counterbalanced Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-twin engine. The bike retains contemporary features such as electronic cruise control, LED lighting, and an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS). The 2024 Hydra-Glide Revival is a limited-production model, with only 1,750 units available globally, each individually numbered. It has a price tag of $24,999.
Enthusiast Collection: Expanding the Lineup
Joining the Hydra-Glide Revival are three new models in the Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection: the Low Rider ST, Ultra Limited, and Tri Glide Ultra, all part of the 2024 Tobacco Fade Enthusiast Collection. This special edition series celebrates the warm finishes and tones of rock ‘n’ roll guitars.
2024 Low Rider ST: Sporting the Tobacco Fade premium paint, the Low Rider ST exudes West Coast attitude and features the Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-twin engine. The Tobacco treatment adds $1,900 to the base price of $23,399.
2024 Ultra Limited: The Ultra Limited offers long-haul touring amenities with the addition of the Tobacco Fade treatment. Featuring classic-style batwing fairing, four-speaker audio, and Tour-Pak luggage carrier, this model is mechanically identical to the standard Ultra Limited, with an MSRP of $32,499; Tobacco Fade adds $2,900.
2024 Tri Glide Ultra: Completing the Tobacco Fade Enthusiast Collection is the Tri Glide Ultra, a long-haul touring trike. With the same Tobacco treatment, this trike boasts top-shelf touches, including premium infotainment and ample cargo space. The base Tri Glide comes with a price tag of $37,999, with the Tobacco Fade option adding $4,000.
Harley-Davidson emphasizes that these Enthusiast Collection models are not just bikes; they aim to highlight the unique stories of Harley riders. Limited to 2,000 units per model, they bring a touch of individuality to the road.
The Hydra-Glide Revival and the Enthusiast Collection trio are showcased at Daytona International Speedway for Bike Week. Enthusiasts can witness Harley-Davidson’s legacy and innovation. These models are currently at Harley-Davidson dealers, allowing riders to own a piece of Harley’s history and craftsmanship.
