Priced at RM69,988, this dual-purpose bike comes in the eye-catching Icon Blue color and is assembled locally as a CKD unit.

Powered by Yamaha’s 689 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, the Tenere 700 packs a punch with 72.4 hp at 9,000 rpm and 68 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. It’s fuel-injected, runs on a chain drive, and has a smooth six-speed gearbox.

Perfect for off-road enthusiasts, the Tenere 700 features a user-friendly TFT-LCD screen and various riding aids. The 21-inch front wheel with 90/90 rubber and 18-inch rear wheel with a 150/70 tire make it geared for off-road adventures.

The bike’s long-travel suspension, including 43 mm upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock with 200 mm of adjustable travel, ensures a comfortable ride on any terrain.

Weighing 205 kg, the Tenere 700 has a sturdy double-cradle tubular steel frame. Its 16-litre fuel tank offers a claimed range of 350 km, and riders sit comfortably at an 880 mm height.

Priced at RM69,988, the Tenere 700 competes well in the region, with Thailand at RM58,394 and the Philippines at RM51,912 in 2021. Yamaha also offers the road-focused Tracer 9 GT at the same price for those seeking a smoother ride.

In summary, the Yamaha Tenere 700 brings power, off-road capabilities, and affordability to Malaysian riders. With its competitive price and versatile features, this adventure bike is set to make waves on Malaysian roads. Get ready for the Tenere 700’s bold debut in the adventure biking scene!
