The roar of engines and the thrill of motocross racing will be reaching new heights as registration for the 2024 Yamaha YZ bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup remains wide open. A staggering 500 riders have already thrown their helmets into the ring. We can expect more adrenaline enthusiasts to join before the registration deadline at midnight CET on Tuesday, 28th February. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this high-octane experience; secure your spot by clicking here.

Growing Popularity and Global Participation

Yamaha’s prestigious bLU cRU program, launched in 2015, has gained immense popularity over the years, evident in the current registration figures. The 500 riders hail from 29 countries across Europe, showcasing the widespread appeal of this thrilling competition. The race for a coveted spot in the YZ bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale is on. The anticipation is building as the registration deadline approaches.

Inclusivity Takes Center Stage

One notable highlight is the increasing participation of female riders. This aligns perfectly with Yamaha Motor Europe, InFront Moto Racing, and the FIM’s dedication to promoting inclusivity within the sport. Nearly 10% of the entries are from female riders, and we can expect this number to rise. The commitment to breaking gender barriers in motocross is a testament to the sport’s evolving landscape.

Age No Barrier

The Yamaha YZ bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup continues to be a platform for young talent, with riders from ages 8 to 16 competing across Europe. The ultimate goal for these budding racers is a coveted place at the start gate at the Yamaha YZ bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale. This pinnacle event is provisionally scheduled to unfold alongside the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations (MXoN) at the iconic Matterley Basin track in the U.K.

Reflecting on 2023

The 2023 edition of the YZ bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup saw young talents showcasing their skills in front of a massive crowd of 102,000 at the MXoN. It was a memorable experience for both participants and spectators alike.

The YZ bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup – A Brief Overview

The program originated in 2015 as the YZ125 bLU cRU Cup. It was expanded in 2018 to include participants racing YZ65 or YZ85 in national championships. It is recognized for its contribution to the support and development of young riders. The program received the prestigious FIM Award for the Future in 2022.

In 2019, an alliance with FIM Europe’s MXGP Academy further strengthened the program, leading to the incorporation of three classes. A total of 120 riders now have the opportunity to win a coveted spot at the 2024 YZ bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale. Three exceptionally talented youngsters will potentially secure the Yamaha-supported rider status in 2025.

With the new racing season on the horizon, aspiring motocross enthusiasts are encouraged to seize the opportunity to register for the 2024 Yamaha YZ bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup. The deadline for entries is midnight CET on Tuesday, 28th February. As the countdown begins, the motocross community eagerly anticipates another thrilling chapter in the legacy of the YZ bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup. Secure your spot, feel the adrenaline, and be part of motocross history!
