For the second year in a row, the stunning snow-covered Dolomites provided a picturesque setting for the Ducati Lenovo Team’s official presentation. Held at Palacampiglio in Madonna di Campiglio, the event unveiled the Desmosedici GP machines for the 2024 MotoGP World Championship. As part of the “Campioni in Pista” event, it showcased MotoGP bikes, the Panigale V4 R Superbike, and the motocross bikes of the Ducati Corse R&D – Factory MX Team.

Striking Livery Design

The Ducati Lenovo Team’s livery is dominated by the iconic Ducati Red. It introduces a captivating fluorescent graphic detail reminiscent of the curve in the Ducati logo. This design element reflects a fusion of tradition and modern aesthetics. The captivating graphic is evident on the fairings of the Panigale V4 R Superbike of the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team. It also finds its place on the new motocross bikes of the Ducati Corse R&D – Factory MX Team. This creates a cohesive visual identity across the diverse Ducati racing stable.

Champion Lineup

Reigning World Champion Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia took centre stage in the event. He proudly displayed the number 1 on the fairing of his Desmosedici GP, gearing up to defend his title. Bagnaia’s compatriot, Enea Bastianini, is entering his second year with the factory team, contributing continuity and experience to the lineup. In the Superbike category, Alvaro Bautista wears the number 1 on his Panigale V4 R. On the other hand, reigning Supersport World Champion Nicolò Bulega debuts in the category with the number 11 on his Ducati.

New Faces and Roles

The presentation also marked the official introduction of the new Ducati Corse Sporting Director, Mauro Grassilli. His appointment aims to bring fresh leadership to the team. Paolo Ciabatti, recently appointed General Manager of Ducati Corse Off-Road Division, took the stage to unveil Ducati’s new motocross bikes. These high-performance machines will be entrusted to the capable hands of nine-time Motocross World Champion Tony Cairoli and Alessandro Lupino. The two promise an exciting foray into off-road competition for the iconic brand.

Collaboration and Support

Ducati organized the “Campioni in Pista” event in collaboration with Trentino Marketing and the Azienda per il Turismo Madonna di Campiglio. It showcased the strong partnership between Ducati and its sponsors. The event celebrated the intersection of cutting-edge technology, high-performance racing, and breathtaking scenery with the support of Lenovo, Aruba.it, Audi Sport, Monster Energy, and Shell.

Upcoming Season

As the Ducati Lenovo Team concludes its presentation amidst the snow-capped Dolomites, anticipation grows for the start of the 2024 MotoGP season. The team is gearing up for its first track appearance in the official test session at Sepang, Malaysia, from February 6th to 8th. Ducati enthusiasts worldwide eagerly await the thrilling battles ahead on the asphalt of the world’s most prestigious racing circuits, fueled by the team’s championship-winning lineup and striking livery.
