In a harmonious fusion of power, elegance, and artistic expression, Ducati, the iconic Bologna-based motorcycle company, is set to mark its presence in the art world by becoming a partner of Arte Fiera. Celebrating its fiftieth anniversary in 2024, Arte Fiera stands as a testament to the evolution of modern and contemporary art since its inception in 1974. Ducati’s decision to align itself with this prestigious event underscores the company’s commitment to beauty, innovation, and the celebration of Italian excellence.

The Aesthetics of Mobility

Ducati’s affinity for beauty has long been reflected in its motorcycles, envisioned as a magical blend of technology and aesthetics. This philosophy seamlessly aligns with the art world. By joining forces with Arte Fiera, Ducati aims to further promote Italian excellence, uniqueness, and lifestyle on a global scale. Both Ducati and Arte Fiera proudly represent Emilia-Romagna and Made in Italy. Both also sharing deep roots in the vibrant cultural fabric of Bologna.

“Percorso” and the Dynamic Connection: Ducati’s partnership with Arte Fiera extends beyond a mere association. The motorcycle giant will be actively supporting “Percorso” (Path), an innovative format within the fair symbolizing mobility and dynamism. This thematic itinerary connects select galleries in the Main Section of Arte Fiera. This year’s theme focuses on the universal language of drawing—an art form that transcends generational and linguistic boundaries.

Ducati’s Active Role

Ducati’s engagement in Arte Fiera goes beyond sponsorship, as it establishes the “Officina Arte Ducati Award” within the “Percorso” framework. A specially appointed jury, guided by criteria aligned with Ducati’s brand values, will recognize and reward the most commendable work exhibited at the fair. This initiative solidifies Ducati’s commitment to fostering artistic talent and innovation.

A Sculptural Ode to Ducati

Adding a touch of marvel to the fair, Ducati presents a true work of art—a sculpture carved from Acquabianca marble titled “Fortitudo Mea in Levitate.” Inspired by the aesthetic essence of the Panigale, this creation captures the delicate balance between the lightness of form and the weight of the precious Carrara marble. Visitors will have the opportunity to admire this unique Ducati masterpiece during the fair’s opening period.

Arte Fiera 2024

Arte Fiera’s golden jubilee celebration is set to unfold from February 2 to 4. Its preview will be on February 1, within the halls 25 and 26 of BolognaFiere. The 2024 edition will revisit pivotal moments, artworks, and publications from its early years. Thus, cementing its status as a significant player in the national and international art scene.

Ducati in ART CITY Bologna

Beyond Arte Fiera, the Ducati will play a vital role in ART CITY Bologna. It is a program of exhibitions, events, and initiatives organized by the Municipality of Bologna in collaboration with BolognaFiere. As the city transforms into an artistic hub during this period, Ducati’s presence will further enhance the cultural tapestry of the event.

Ducati’s partnership with Arte Fiera signifies a marriage of aesthetics and innovation. It demonstrates the brand’s dedication to fostering creativity and celebrating the essence of Italian excellence. As the two entities join forces, they not only contribute to the vibrancy of Bologna’s cultural landscape but also create a platform where beauty, technology, and art converge to captivate audiences on a global stage.
