In early December, the renowned Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer Ducati unveiled a hyper-exclusive collaboration with the luxury car brand Bentley—the “Diavel for Bentley.” This limited-edition motorcycle showcased a seamless fusion of high-performance engineering and sophisticated design, serving as a true testament to their partnership.

For those fortunate enough to own a Bentley, an even more exclusive opportunity presented itself with the 50-piece tag-on series known as the “Ducati Diavel for Bentley Mulliner.” Priced at an impressive USD 70,000, these motorcycles could only grace the garage of an owner with a Bentley to their name.

Ducati drew inspiration from the iconic Bentley Batur for this unique project. The design incorporated elements like redesigned intake vents and a striking “Scarab Green” paint scheme. It pays homage to Bentley’s classic aesthetic.

The use of premium materials, including carbon fiber, added an extra touch of opulence to these already impressive machines.

With a price tag of USD 70,000, the standard Diavel for Bentley was no small investment. However, the Mulliner variant took exclusivity to another level. It set a new benchmark as the “2023’s most expensive motorcycle” at USD 90,000. This considerable price point did not deter enthusiasts and collectors. According to Alex Whitworth on Visordown, the entire production run was fully reserved.

Ducati’s anticipation of high demand for the Diavel for Bentley Mulliner proved to be accurate. The indicator of success became evident when the company’s coverage revealed that all 50 of the Mulliner variants were fully reserved. This sell-out success reflects the allure of the collaboration. It also underscores the desirability of a motorcycle that embodies the prestige of both Ducati and Bentley.

The Ducati Diavel for Bentley Mulliner stands as a symbol of ultimate luxury and performance in the motorcycle world. As 2023’s most expensive bike, it has captivated the attention of enthusiasts and collectors alike. The sell-out success of this exclusive collaboration reaffirms the appeal of high-end, limited-edition motorcycles. It also serves as a testament to the craftsmanship and design prowess of both Ducati and Bentley.
