The captivating victory that saw him overcome a demanding 453km course of sand and punishing dunes. Botturi’s strategic prowess and impressive riding have positioned him just one minute behind the current rally leader, Jacopo Cerutti. Meanwhile, teammate Pol Tarrés faced some setbacks but remains determined to make a strong comeback in the remaining stages.
Stage seven of the Africa Eco Race proved to be a formidable test for the competitors. They navigated a looping 453km timed special entirely on sand. The terrain was challenging, with punishing dunes midway through the stage. Riders had to showcase not just speed but also exceptional physical endurance.
