In a groundbreaking move for the world of motorcycle racing, 2024 will witness the arrival of Trackhouse Racing in MotoGP™. Trackhouse Racing, known for its impressive successes in the NASCAR Cup series, is poised to extend its racing prowess onto two wheels as it joins MotoGP™ as an Independent Team. Teaming up with Aprilia, Trackhouse will be running their RS-GP MotoGP™ prototypes. This marks a significant collaboration between American racing excellence and Italian engineering.

The team made the announcement in Milan on a global stage, broadcast live worldwide. Trackhouse founder Justin Marks shared the stage in Milan. He was accompanied by key figures in the racing world. This included Aprilia Racing CEO Massimo Rivola. Additionally, Dorna Sports executives Carlos Ezpeleta and Dan Rossomondo were present. Together, they unveiled the ambitious venture that is aiming to redefine the landscape of MotoGP™.

Trackhouse Racing is gearing up to make a powerful statement on the track with a formidable lineup.

The team will field two Aprilia RS-GPs, piloted by none other than multiple-MotoGP™ winner #88 Miguel Oliveira. Joining him is the emerging talent #25 Raul Fernandez. The official 2024 livery will make its revelation early next season. However, as part of the launch, the team unveiled a symbolic American flag-liveried bike. This design pays homage to the testing colours used by Nicky Hayden and celebrates the rich motorcycle racing heritage of the United States.

The entrance of Trackhouse Racing into MotoGP™ represents more than just a team expansion. It signifies a commitment to embracing the heritage of motorcycle racing while ushering in a new era with innovative approaches. The symbolic American flag-liveried bike not only pays tribute to the past but also sets the stage for a thrilling future in MotoGP™.

Trackhouse Racing and MotoGP™ share a common vision – to build on the rich legacy of motorcycle racing and create an exciting new project from the ground up. The addition of an American team to the MotoGP™ grid represents one of the world’s largest markets. This opens doors to a plethora of opportunities for both parties. This collaboration will build on Trackhouse’s established success in NASCAR and the global appeal of MotoGP™.

As Trackhouse Racing embarks on its MotoGP™ journey in 2024, the racing world eagerly anticipates the fusion of American racing flair with the legendary Italian engineering of Aprilia. The team’s entry adds a new layer of excitement to the sport. It promises fierce competition and a fresh narrative in the ever-evolving story of motorcycle racing. The 2024 MotoGP™ season is gearing up for a thrilling chapter. Trackhouse Racing is set on leaving an indelible mark on the track and shaping the future of two-wheeled racing.
