In a momentous announcement, Shell Malaysia proudly inaugurates the Shell Café today, introducing a captivating aromatic journey for consumers. This novel venture promises an immersive experience, featuring signature farm-to-cup coffees and an enticing array of delectable food options. This marks a significant milestone in Shell’s unwavering commitment to delivering a rewarding experience for its valued customers.

Brewed on-site with passion by upskilled site heroes turned baristas, Shell Café’s signature coffees offer a symphony of flavours that will undoubtedly make your taste buds sing with joy.

Seow Lee Ming, the General Manager of Shell Mobility Malaysia, highlighted at the launch event that Shell Café stands as a testament to Shell’s dedication to adapting to the dynamic preferences of its consumers. The signature coffees, carrying an extra ‘KAW’ that Malaysians adore, boast fruity and spicy undertones. Ming also shared insights into Shell’s ambitious expansion strategy, aiming to introduce Shell Café to a broader Malaysian audience.

Positioned as the preferred destination, Shell Café promises an integrated and customer-centric experience.

It provides not only fresh and appealing food and beverages but also a welcoming space for patrons to fulfil their refuelling requirements seamlessly while on the move.

Setting Shell Café apart is its unique coffee blend crafted from Arabica and Liberica beans, sourced locally in Malaysia. The rare Liberica beans constitute less than 2% of global coffee production. It promises a distinctive flavour, ensuring every cup of Shell Café coffee is an experience worth stopping for.

Beyond the classics like Americano, Latte, and Cappuccino, Shell Café tantalizes taste buds with special offerings. This includes Dirty Latte and Cokespresso, along with a range of refreshing ice-blended frappes.

Shell Café goes beyond the typical convenience store offerings with a diverse food menu. The menu features salted egg pasta, gourmet sausages, convenience wraps, and meat-free options for the health-conscious consumer.

For those seeking a quick bite, Shell Café caters to pastry lovers with an array of snacks. Riders can opt for crowd favourites like firecracker sausage rolls and chocolate rolls to new offerings such as curry puffs, almond croissants, scones, and cakes.

With an extensive network of over 800 Shell Select stores nationwide, offering a diverse range from pastries to vehicle-related products and services, Shell’s commitment remains steadfast—to ensure Shell stations serve as the ultimate one-stop centre for all customer needs.

“As our convenience retail experience evolves, we’re excited to announce the opening of 80 Shell Café sites by year-end. Looking ahead to 2024, we aim to expand even further,” added Lee Ming.

Whether you’re a student, a working professional, or a group of friends embarking on a road trip, Shell Café is an experience worth stopping for. With a blend of quality coffee, delicious food, and convenience seamlessly integrated into the daily lives of Malaysians.
