Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. (“Boon Siew Honda a.k.a. BSH”) and Berjaya Sompo Insurance Berhad (“Berjaya Sompo”) recently announced a partnership to offer two brand-new comprehensive motorcycle insurance packages exclusively designed for Honda motorcycle owners.
The first package is the Honda Impian X Insurance Plan for Honda motorcycle coverage with a capacity of 250cc below. The second package is the Honda BigWing Insurance Plan for Honda motorcycle coverage with a capacity of 251cc and above.
The coverage key features include 24-hour emergency roadside assistance, with unlimited towing services anywhere in Malaysia. It covers the location of the accident or breakdown to your preferred Honda Impian X or Honda BigWing dealer. This complimentary towing service is especially beneficial to motorcyclists who are frequently on the road. This gives them peace of mind wherever they are and whenever they have an emergency.
The brand-new comprehensive insurance packages also come with special perils coverage for acts of nature.
This covers damage or loss to the motorcycle due to natural disasters such as floods and landslides. With the recent unpredictable weather in our country, motorcyclists should always be prepared for natural disasters. This is especially true since flash floods have damaged many vehicles in recent years.
Under the Honda Impian X Insurance Plan and Honda BigWing Insurance Plan, the basic benefits include protection against financial loss due to fire or theft and accidental damage to the insured’s vehicle. In addition to that is the protection against the legal liabilities to a third party for death and bodily injury. It also covers damage to property that may arise through the negligence of the motorcyclists.
Policyholders also can upgrade their protection plan to include legal liability coverage for the pillion rider and a motorcyclist’s personal accident add-on.
