SYARIFUDDIN AZMAN (DAMOK)
“Free practice sessions completed. In FP1 I tried to find the rhythm and set up for my bike. I found a way to find the best setup. In FP2, the team made big changes to my bike, and I felt more confident riding it. I hope I can maintain this momentum for tomorrow in FP3 and the qualifying session. I hope everyone will continue to support me and pray that I can do my best for this week and the upcoming races.”
HAKIM DANISH
“In FP1, I finished the session in P19. During FP1, I tried to adapt because this track is new to me, and it’s also a new experience for me. I tried to find the rhythm, lap by lap. I worked on improving my riding style and lap times. In FP2, I finished the session in P23. I only completed a few laps before I had a crash at the last corner when Aditama hit me from behind.
Then, in the qualifying session, I managed to secure P13. It was quite challenging for me at the start of the qualifying session. I tried to follow other riders, but many of them stopped and slowed down. Nevertheless, I managed to get a good lap time in the last lap. The qualifying session is important, and I had to push for a good starting position for Race 1 tomorrow. Don’t forget to pray for me and for the other Malaysian riders as well.”
DANIAL SYAHMI
“The FP1, FP2, and qualifying sessions went smoothly, and I completed the sessions safely. I finished FP1 with a satisfying position of P12. During FP2 and the qualifying session, I tried to find the best setup, but it was quite challenging to make a good lap time due to the traffic. I decided to stay behind that group, but by the time I arrived, they had already started to slow down. It was a bit of a struggle for me to improve my lap time, but I finished the qualifying session in P17. This is not what I expected for the starting position in tomorrow’s race. However, I will give it my all. This is also my last race in the Red Bull Rookies this season and the final round, so I will give my 100%”
