Suzuki GSX-8S officially rolled out in Malaysia at RM50,800.

Suzuki Malaysia has introduced a new ‘sports naked’ motorcycle for the local market.

This Suzuki GSX-8S is the latest entry in the naked motorcycle segment. The model features a brand new 776cc DOHC parallel-twin engine developed in Hamamatsu. Interestingly, the design of the engine produces power at low revs. This model also comes with a Suzuki Cross Balancer, which guarantees a lower level of vibration.

For the record, the new platform produces 82hp at 8,500rpm and 78Nm at 6,800rpm and features a ‘ride-by-wire’ system. The GSX-8S also offers three levels of a ‘traction control’ system, all of which can be deactivated. The three engine modes with both accessible via the TFT screen.

To ensure a more exciting ride, this naked model is also equipped with a two-way quickshifter system (up/down) as standard.

The chassis is matched with front and rear KYB suspension while the ‘swingarm’ part is specially designed to increase the level of agility.

For the record, this Suzuki GSX-8S comes with three colour options; Pearl Cosmic Blue, Pearl Tech White and Matt and Sparkle Black.

The 2023 Suzuki GSX-8S comes with a price tag of RM50,800.
