Sinar Puncak, the official distributor of the SHOEI brand in Malaysia, officially introduces the SHOEI NXR 2, a new full-face helmet for the local market.

Interestingly, this SHOEI NXR 2 helmet is the lightest helmet among the model line of the Japanese helmet brand. In addition to reaching the latest standard, ECE22.06, it is also guaranteed to be safer.

For the record, this SHOEI NXR 2 was developed in SHOEI’s own wind tunnel facility to achieve the best level of aerodynamics.

As a result, this NXR 2 comes with a compact design and also a prominent rear ‘spoiler’ and a wind funnel at the front. The air funnel also increases the removal of hot air for the wearer. In total, there are 6 inlets and 4 outlets.

According to SHOEI, the NXR 2 is also quieter and able to repel water better. Not only that, although it is quieter, the design of this helmet ensures that wind noise is lower.

In the meantime, the visor protects the face and eyes by 99 per cent from UV Rays. The visor can also be opened and closed more easily as the locking system is now located in the centre of the front.

This SHOEI NXR 2 comes with three different variants and various colour choices. As for the plain colour, the SHOEI NXR 2 comes with a price of RM2,400. On the other hand, the graphics are available at a price of RM2,899.

Marc Marquez fans can get the MM93 Collection Rush version at a price of RM2,980.
