Indonesia became the second Southeast Asian country to welcome the arrival of Kawasaki’s latest ‘sportsbike’ model, the Ninja ZX-4RR, after Thailand.

According to reports, only the highest variant, the Ninja ZX-4RR will be entering the country’s market with an official selling price of INR239.9 million (RM70k). Meanwhile, only 40 units were will be available for grabs.

However, the price tag definitely steals the spotlight as it is twice as high as the Ninja ZX-25R.

For the record, this Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR features a 399cc 4-stroke DOHC engine with liquid cooling. This bike offers a ‘rev limit’ of over 15,000rpm. Engine power is channelled to the rear tires through a 6-speed transmission with the help of a wet clutch. The platform is capable of producing 79.1hp with the help of Ram-Air.

The braking system features twin 290mm front and 220mm rear brake discs flanked by 4-pot front and 2-pot rear radial brake callipers. The bike features a 15L tank

The electronic package features the KTRC traction control system and four riding modes (Sport, Road, Rain and Rider). It also has a 4.3-inch colour LCD meter panel where riders can connect to the Kawasaki Rideology application.
