Rumours about the arrival of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R have been floating around since Kawasaki introduced the Ninja ZX-25R again.
Kawasaki itself confirmed the claim when it patented the ZX-4R name, early last year.
The latest development now that has further stimulated the global motorcycle market is when Kawasaki filed the vehicle approval documents in the United States displaying the code names ZX400SP and ZX400PP.
The code name indirectly confirms the model’s imminent arrival. The two different code names also confirm that the Ninja ZX-4R will come with two variants. The two variants will namely be the ZX-4R and ZX-4RR with the RR variant referring to higher specifications.
To our surprise, the Japanese publication Young-Machine reports that the upcoming Ninja ZX-4R will produce over 70hp.
Although there is yet to be any confirmation yet, it is rare for Young-Machine to share inaccurate information.
Stay tuned for the global launch of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R.
