BMW Motorrad Malaysia unveils new electric bike CE 04

BMW Motorrad Malaysia has just revealed the electric scooter, BMW CE 04 in Malaysia. Despite that, the official launch will only be in March with the price expected to be around RM60,000.

For the record, the BMW CE 04 made its debut in Europe in July 2021 before entering other global markets.

The BMW CE 04 features an electric motor with liquid cooling. It is capable of generating 42hp at 4,900rpm and 62Nm. The power figure makes the CE 04 look like a conventional scooter even though it is electric.

According to BMW Motorrad Malaysia, this CE 04 is able to record a maximum speed of 120km/h and can do 0-50km/h in 2.6 seconds.

This BMW CE 04 features an 8.9 kWh lithium-ion battery and offers a riding distance of up to 130km. The charging system comes via an integrated charging device that can utilise the domestic (home) socket or general charging station.

This BMW CE 04 only needs one hour and 40 minutes if using fast charging and 4 hours and 20 minutes if using AC charging.
