The Aveta VZR250 offers up to 25.4hp and 21Nm on a 4-stroke 250cc engine.

New local motorcycle brand, Aveta has officially launched the Aveta VZR250 for the local market with a base selling price of RM14,998.
The Aveta VZR250 is a 250cc ‘entry-level’ motorcycle for the local market. Now with a modern and aggressive design, the model will compete with the Kawasaki Ninja 250 and Yamaha YZF-R25.
For the record, the VZR250 features a single-cylinder 250cc 4-stroke DOHC engine with liquid cooling. It is capable of generating 25.4hp at 9,000rpm and 21Nm at 7,000rpm.

Engine power is channelled to a 6-speed manual transmission with the help of a ‘slipper clutch’.
The bike also comes with a front telescopic fork and has a dry weight of 186kg. It has 110/70-17 tires at the front and 150/70-17 tires at the rear. The bike features both analogue and digital meter panels.
Twin front disc brakes with 4-piston brake callipers at the front and two-piston callipers at the rear control the braking system of the bike. Despite the absence of an ABS system, this model still comes with a CBS (combine braking system) function.
According to Aveta, this VZR250 comes with three colour options. This includes Jet Black, Fire Bird Red and Air Force Blue.
