New scooter Yamaha Augur 155 rolled out in Taiwan

The scooter market in Taiwan is one of the largest in the world due to the high demand for the segment. It is not surprising that the scooter market is growing with various types of models and brands to cater to the demands of people.

Most recently, Yamaha introduced the Augur 155 scooter which comes with sophisticated and modern specifications.

The Yamaha Augur 155 comes with full LED lights on the front and rear including the DRL (daytime running light) function. The main light in the front will also illuminate the side when turning while presenting a better level of visibility.

Interestingly, users can also change the colour of the light from white to yellow. The function helps when riding in fog or rain.

For the record, this Yamaha Augur 155 is features a 155cc single cylinder engine with VVA and fuel injection. It is capable of producing 14.7hp at 8,000rpm and 13.8Nm.

Like other Yamaha scooter models, the Augur 155 also uses a ‘keyless’ starter system and is equipped with a ‘start/stop’ function.

The safety aspect is also interesting with the presence of ABS and traction control. The suspension package comes in the form of front telescopic forks and twin rear monoshocks.

Among other features offered include a 6L tank, 4.3-inch TFT meter panel and Bluetooth connectivity.
