Great news as the Suzuki GSX-8S may be preparing for an entrance to Malaysia early next year after its spectacular debut at the EICMA 2022.

The EICMA 2022 motorcycle show officially closed its curtains on Sunday. Throughout the weekend, we have managed to witness various new and updated models on display in Milan.
Among those who garnered the spotlight were two new models from Suzuki, namely the GSX-8S and V-Strom 800DE.
The ‘naked’ Suzuki GSX-8S model managed to steal the attention of many. It comes with a brand new 776cc parallel-twin platform.
Even more exciting is the fact that the Suzuki GSX-8S may be entering Malaysia around the first quarter of 2023. Executive Chairman of the Suzuki Malaysia Group, Ahmad Faez Yahaya has seemed to confirm this via Facebook.
This is good news to Suzuki fans in Malaysia who have fallen in love with the model ever since its introduction at the EICMA 2022.
For the record, this Suzuki GSX-8S is the brand’s latest entry in the naked motorcycle segment. It features a brand new 776cc DOHC parallel-twin engine developed in Hamamatsu.
Suzuki has designed the engine to produce power at low revs. The manufacturer has also equipped the bike with a Suzuki Cross Balancer, which guarantees a lower level of vibration.
The new platform is capable of generating 81.7hp at 8,500rpm and 78Nm at 6,800rpm. It is controlled by a ‘ride-by-wire’ system.
