The limited edition SPORTBIKE KTM RC 8C (2023) was sold out within 2 minutes 38 seconds as soon as the reservation opened.

KTM produced only 200 units of the model for track use. Of the total sales, 30 buyers chose to receive the bike at KTM’s exclusive handover event in Valencia, Spain later this spring.

KTM also lists an online waiting list for interested buyers who have the opportunity to own this motorcycle if any buyer cancels the purchase.

The KTM RC 8C 2023 comes with several updates such as new colour schemes. KTM also made changes to the aero kit and installed better electronic features. The manufacturer has reduced the weight of the bike and added premium components.

KTM also upgraded the engine and we can see that it is now more powerful. The RC 8C 2023 is capable of generating a power of 133hp @ 11,000rpm and a torque of 98Nm @ 8250rpm.

The power figures are due to the use of new lighter components. Such includes titanium valves and conrods, two piston rings, and a high compression ratio. KTM also installed a large throttle body and a reinforced fuel pump.

KTM also improved the clutch preload, removed the upper balancer and adjusted the crankcase balancer shaft to improve durability. Also, this motorcycle uses a new Akrapovic titanium exhaust system that helps to lighten the overall weight of the machine.

Rider assist technology consists of traction control, engine mapping, and engine braking. Owners can also make changes by adjusting the steering and throttle response. They can also adjust the degree of the grip of the Brembo Stylema brake callipers and RCS19 Corsa Corta master cylinder.
