Kawasaki Z900RS launched in Malaysia at RM63,800

The Kawasaki Z900RS joins the Ninja ZX-10R, Ninja 1000SX and Versys 1000 SE adventure-tourer as the brand’s latest big bikes.

Kawasaki Malaysia has begun its steps in marketing several CBU models in the local market starting with the Kawasaki Z900RS which comes with a price tag of RM63,800.

Edaran Modenas Sdn Bhd (EMOS), the official distributor of Kawasaki here in Malaysia, has officially introduced four big bike models at the 2022 MotoGP in Sepang.

Drenched in the classic retro style, the Z900RS joins the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, Versys 1000 SE and Ninja 1000SX which are also open for booking at prices of RM112,600, RM81,900 and RM71,400 respectively.

Despite its retro features, the Z900RS features modern specifications including the same 848cc four-cylinder engine found in the Z900.

As a result, the engine offers 111hp at 8,500rpm and 98.5Nm at 6,500. Engine power is channelled through a 6-speed transmission with the help of an assist/slipper clutch.

Other features on offer include an adjustable suspension system, 300mm twin brake discs, 4-pot front brake callipers and a 17L tank.

According to MODENAS, the Kawasaki Z900RS will be marketed in November.
