Kawasaki will introduce a new generation Ninja 1000SX for the global market this month.
The latest generation Ninja 1000SX is Kawasaki’s answer to compete with the GSX-S1000GT introduced by Suzuki late last year.
So far, the ‘sports tourer’ motorcycle is often positioned between the ZX-10R and Versys 1000 because it offers touring machinery features but with power like a superbike.
However, according to reports in Japan, the design of the upcoming Ninja 1000SX will be more in line with the new ZX-10R mould but still maintain a comfortable seat and ergonomic seating that is more vertical and suitable for long-distance use.
Meanwhile, the Ninja 1000SX will be powered by a 1043cc four-cylinder engine that has been tuned to produce smoother power at low and mid revs.
Although the authentic information has not been shared at this time, the Japanese media, Bike News revealed that Kawasaki will launch the Ninja 1000SX on July 15.
There is yet to be any news on whether Ninja 1000SX also be considered by MODENAS for launch in the local market as a CBU model.
