A result of the technical and manufacturing partnership between Austrian motorcycle maker KTM and China manufacturer CFMoto, the 800MT Touring has now graced Malaysia.

After being launched around June last year, the CFMOTO 800MT is now open for booking in the Malaysian market.
According to the information obtained, this ‘adventure touring’ motorcycle is offered at a price of RM53,800 (before tax and insurance) and the model is expected to arrive around September or October.
Making its debut at the Beijing Motor Show 2021, the 800MT is the first ADV motorcycle introduced by the brand.
Although there are two variants offered for the global market; 800MT Sport and 800MT Touring, are the only Touring variants marketed in Malaysia. The main difference between the Touring version is the presence of a 19-inch wire-spoke rim in addition to being equipped with a top box and panniers as standard.
Interestingly, this 800MT is powered by the same 799cc parallel-twin engine found on the KTM 790 Adventure as a result of a collaboration between CFMOTO and KTM. The engine offers 95hp at 8,000rpm and 88Nm at 6,600rpm.
The CFMOTO 800MT also features a slipper clutch, Bosch electronic fuel injection and ride-by-wire function with three ride modes; rain, off-road and road.
Among other interesting features of the bike include a quickshifter, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), KYB suspension system and J.Juan brake callipers. It is equipped with dual-channel ABS, cruise control and a 19L tank.
