HLYM introduces new colourway for Yamaha MT-09

The Yamaha MT-09 now comes with two new colour options for 2022 as its price remains at RM54,988.

After updating the Yamaha MT-15 with three new colours for 2022, Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) also introduced two new colours for the naked motorcycle, the MT-09.

For 2022, the MT-09 now comes with two new colour options, Tech Black and Cyan Storm, replacing the Icon Blue and Storm Fluo colours introduced last year.

However, no other changes were made to the engine parts that remain powered by the 890cc three-cylinder CP3 platform which offers 117.3hp at 10,000rpm and 93Nm at 7,000rpm.

Engine power is then channelled to the rear tires via a 6-speed transmission with the help of a quick shifter.

The Yamaha MT-09 comes with a 41mm adjustable front fork and adjustable rear monoshock. It has front twin radial calliper brakes and single rear calliper brakes.

Meanwhile, despite the price increase on the MT-15 as announced recently, the price tag of MT-09 remains at RM54,998.
