Malaysian motorcyclists become inspiration for G-SHOCK X Against Lab

Leading watch brand, G-SHOCK has officially announced the launch of the G-SHOCK DW-6900AL22 watch in collaboration with Malaysian streetwear brand, Against Lab.

The exclusive watch will only be marketed in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.

Interestingly, this model is inspired by the mental resilience of Malaysians who wake up every day to face the challenges of life, especially motorcyclists.

That is the inspiration that gave birth to ‘The Grind’ which symbolizes the endurance, toughness and resilience of motorcyclists in Malaysia.

Motorcycles are the main means of transportation in Malaysia because they are affordable, easy to maintain, fast and durable. The DNA was also brought to the G-SHOCK X Against Lab DW-6900AL22 model.

According to Against Lab, the chrome-coloured watch face also reflects the exhaust pipe on the motorcycle while the orange line is inspired by traffic lights.

The G-SHOCK X Against Lab watch is available at RM550 and will go on sale on May 28 at the Casio Lazada Official Store and on June 3 at selected G-SHOCK outlets.
