Yamaha has launched the YZF-R15 V4 in September last year in India. At the launch, Yamaha introduced two variants, R15 (Standard) and R15M which are the latest variants for that model.
Soon after, the Yamaha R15 V4 was also marketed in neighbouring Indonesia while distributors in Singapore brought in the model for the market in February.
In the latest development, our expectation is that the fourth generation R15 will be introduced soon in Malaysia. Speculations arose after two models were detected undergoing road tests recently as reported by paultan.org on Tuesday.

The report clearly shows that two R15 V4 models are undergoing testing and come in all black to protect the actual look.
However, as previously revealed, the R15 V4 offers an all-new body panel and LED lighting design that is inspired by the latest YZF-R7 machine launched in Europe.

Not only that, the R15M variant is equipped with traction control, quickshifter system and two riding modes (Track/Street) while offering an exciting riding experience.
It is understood that the Yamaha R15 will be introduced in the Malaysian market around the beginning of the third quarter of this year
