Indian motorcycle giant, TVS Motor Company will participate in the Asian Motorcycle Championship (ARRC) for the first time through the TVS Racing team.

TVS Racing will be involved in the One Make TVS Asia Championship which will take place in conjunction with the ARRC.

The participation of TVS Racing was also welcomed by the Promotion Director of Two Wheels Motor Racing Sdn Bhd (TWMR), Ron Hogg.

“TVS Racing’s participation in the One Make Championship is a signal that will definitely open up space in the search for new talent. More importantly, with these new partners and producers, it will spark interest in the ARRC in general,” he explained.

At the same time, TVS Motor Company’s Head of Premium Business, Vimal Sumbly described the company’s inaugural participation in the ARRC would play a big role in bringing the brand to the global stage.

“We are excited about creating success at the international level. The One Make TVS Asia Championship will play an important role as one of our stepping stones globally for TVS Racing. “We take this opportunity as a process of learning from the Indian track and demonstrating our capabilities internationally,” he said.

Vimal also revealed that his party will be betting on TVS Asia One Make Apache RR 310 for the championship.

The One Make TVS Asia Championship will see 16 riders from all over Asia grab the final slot which will be decided on April 27. The selection process is to take place at the Sepang International Circuit during round 2 of the ARRC, next month.
