Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) is upgrading its popular maxi-scooter, the XMax 250 for 2022 with some light updates.
According to HLYM, the XMax 250 2022 has been upgraded with a ‘smoke flasher lens’, a new smart key control design and two new colour options, Icon Gray and Power Gray.
However, the XMax 250 continues to be powered by a 250cc, SOCH single-cylinder (Euro4) engine with liquid cooling. It is capable of producing 22.5hp at 7,000rpm and 24.3Nm at 5,500rpm.
Interestingly, this latest update does not affect the market price which remains placed at RM21,998 (before road tax and insurance).
Meanwhile, each purchase will be accompanied by a Yamaha brake disc key worth RM100.
