The new and improved Allianz Motorcycle Plus now features enhanced protection for riders and pillion riders of motorcycles 250cc and below.

Allianz Motorcycle Plus (Comprehensive or Third Party) now offers the authorised rider and pillion rider additional protection with Death/Permanent Disablement of RM10,000 each and Hospital Income up to RM6,000 each (RM100 per day, up to 60 days) at no extra cost.

Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad (Allianz General) Deputy Chief Sales Officer Sazali Abd Rahman; Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad (Allianz General) Chief Executive Officer Sean Wang with Grand Prize winner Rohisham Husain and Fattah Amin at the prize presentation ceremony.

Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad (Allianz General) Chief Executive Officer Sean Wang stated,

“Motorcycle riders sometimes forgo additional coverage due to issues of affordability or lack of understanding of insurance. But being underinsured is unacceptable. Motorcycle riders are deserving of meaningful, affordable coverage, and we are happy to provide that through our latest enhanced of Allianz Motorcycle Plus.”

“With 90 percent of motorcycles on Malaysian roads being kapcai or under-bone models 250cc and below, we were adamant that the additional coverage be made available for comprehensive and third party policies at no extra cost. In such difficult times, we want riders to be able to put aside financial affordability and get the protection they deserve,” added Sean.

Allianz Motorcycle Plus (Comprehensive) covers losses or damages to your motorcycle due to accident, fire, and theft; third party death and bodily injuries; and third party property losses or damages. Whereas the third party policy covers third party death and bodily injuries; and third party property losses or damages.

Furthermore, the comprehensive cover also features additional coverage of all Special Perils Full Sum-Insured Protection (covering flood, landslides, or any natural disasters) and roadside assistance provided by the Allianz Road Rangers (1800-22-5542), both at no extra cost. The roadside assistance includes emergency towing assistance (free for up to 50km, round-trip), fuel delivery, battery, and flat tyre service.

Allianz General also unveiled the grand prize winner of its 111 Motorcycle Campaign at Allianz Arena in Plaza Sentral today, with a special appearance by Fattah Amin. Rohisham Husain took home a brand-new Honda CBR250RR worth RM25,999.
