Yamaha E01 gears up for launch with road test in Japan

Yamaha has recently confirmed that it will be launching the E01 and E02 electric scooters this year. Strengthening the revelation, Yamaha has already held an E01 test session with the media in Japan.

The test session with the media was Yamaha’s initiative in getting feedback from the media on the electric scooter.

Although the tested machine was fully covered with ‘camouflage’ stickers but based on the uploaded photos, some features of the E01 scooter have been revealed.

The bike features LED headlights inspired by the YZF-R1 and Tracer 9 GT models.

Meanwhile, the front panel space houses an LCD digital display screen that is expected to be loaded with Y-Connect function.

Meanwhile, the Yamaha E01 also comes with front and rear disc brakes, rear twin shock absorbers, 13-inch tires, ABS, riding mode and a keyless system.
