Yamaha has launched the latest Monster Energy Edition WR155R in the Indonesian market.
Using the same 155cc engine found on the Yamaha R15, Yamaha has re-tuned this WR155R engine and the result offers 16.5hp at 10,000rpm and 14.3Nm @ 6,500rpm.
This Yamaha WR155R is a dual-sport motorcycle marketed specifically for new riders.
Despite having a displacement of 155cc, the motorcycle offers a variety of ‘adventure’ features and is suitable for rugged rides with a seat height of 888mm.
The ground clearance distance of 245mm and the wheelbase distance of 1430mm also make this WR 155R suitable for off-road riding.
Meanwhile, the bike also comes with an 8.1L tank, making this model not only suitable for off-road use on weekends but also for daily use.
Among other interesting features include its rim spoke, dual-channel ABS, telescopic fork 41mm and semi-double-cradle type framework. Not to mention, the bike comes with an LCD digital screen, 240mm front and 220mm rear brake discs.
The Yamaha WR 155R Monster Energy Edition comes with a price tag of IDR38.2 million (RM11,300).
