Malaysian rider Hafizh Syahrin may start a new chapter in WorldSBK with a new Honda deal.

Hafizh Syahrin has confirmed that he will leave the Moto2 World Championship next season after a season with the NTS RW Racing team.
However, speculations are that Hafizh is may be participating in the 2022 World Superbike Championship (WorldSBK) with the MIE Racing Honda Team.
Although there is no confirmation so far, according to the Two Wheels report, the two sides have already held preliminary discussions.
Despite that, there is no conclusive agreement so far due to discussions involving several parties including Honda, MIE Racing and Hafizh himself.
MIE Racing Honda Team is an HRC project team in collaboration with Honda and Althea Racing that was established in 2019 and will be fully operational as a satellite team in the 2020 season.
